Keep in mind, however, that the distance that you have to travel can eat up any savings in the output of gasoline taken to get that great price.
Price Match. Many stores will match prices of competitors. Just be sure to take an ad with you so that you can verify the existence of the price at the other store. This can help you keep your shopping to one location.
Buy Store Labels. Many store labels are just as good quality as their major brand name counterparts. This is particularly true for items that you purchase to cook with and add to other items. The difference in taste is often negligible. But the money saved and be significant.
