Shopping online is an increasingly popular method for people to get what they need, rather than spend the gas, the
time, or risk the temptation of spending too much at the mall. As the nationwide continues to remain frugal and cost-conscious, sites like Buxr, can help consumers find the bargains with a few clicks of a mouse.
The staff of Buxr are familiar with the sport of bargain hunting and have brought their talents to one central location, making it easier for all consumers to save money on what they need. Buxr does the hunting for you so you never have to look or be concerned with breaking your budget. The site also features daily and monthly contests that participants can enter. There is even an affiliate program for other blog owners with similar interests in saving money can earn commission when people make purchases.
The community within the site share shopping deals from all over. The deals found on Buxr are vetted, rated, and shared by community members. These member search for the deals and then share their findings on the site. Votes can be cast to rate the ‘hotness’ of each deal and it is those voites consumers can use to help make more informed buying decisions. Buxr does not actually sell any products they featured on the site. Registered participants can submit their own deals which will be verified. Submissions does require a log in account. Participants can also win prizes by submitting the deal of the day tip, by guessing which deals will be the best and the worst for the day, and by referring friends to the Buxr website.
The website seems generally easy to navigate. There are several ways to search for a product or a manufacturer. Categories include deals, sales, freebies, free shipping specials, and expiring deals. Each item contains a brief description of the product, where the product is being sold, and the cost of the product. Some products also contain a thumbnail picture. One the day of this particular review, there were 96 new deals posted by mid-afternoon. I even specifically searched for a digital camera that I have been researching and was able to find three legitimate deals.
Buxr is a simple way to price check your purchases, especially if you are making a big-ticket purchase in the near future. For those at-home bargain hunters, the community seems like a great place to interact and trade deal knowledge about all kind of products. Plus, the fact participants can make a few bucks while bargain hunting for others, isn’t a bad deal in itself.
